FARESTART Partnership

Self-Empowerment and Job Skills Training

Learn More

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Program (ARP) partners with FARESTART, an organization that provides all participants with a six week education/job skills training program. Each participant will begin training with FARESTART in their fifth month in ARP and receive a complimentary Chromebook and daily monetary compensation.

After graduating from The Salvation Adult Rehabilitation Program and completing the FARESTART training program, ARP Graduates have the option of continuing with FARESTART for a work development paid position for six months upon graduating from ARP.

Work therapy helps prepare for the future.

In Seattle, each participant in our drug and alcohol program is given work to do which helps train them to succeed in future employment. They learn to be on time, show respect, add value, set and meet goals, and do good work.
